Mix together:
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. oil
Then add in 1 t. cinnamon and dash of salt.
Add 1 1/3 c. mashed peaches
Add 2 c. flour and 1 t. baking soda
Pour on greased and floured cookie sheet or 2 9' rounds
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
After cooled, top with whipped cream or ice cream and the following sauce:
1/2 stick of butter, melted
1 c. sugar
2 t. flour
2 egg yolks, beaten
2/3 c. evaporated milk (almost full can)
1 t. vanilla
Put in saucepan and bring to a boil until thick stirring constantly.
Can add roasted pecans.
